Use of highly efficient thermal insulation materials in multi-component facades, foundations and roofs. In passive houses, thermal conductivity coefficient of sheathing structures does not exceed 0,15W/(м·K). Thermal conductivity coefficient of windows must not exceed 0,8 W/(м·K).
Use of controlled ventilation system for air inflow- exhaust with recuperation, which allows minimization of heating costs. Owing to this system, air enters the house with a temperature which is close to the internal temperature of the house not requiring any additional heating or cooling.
Building airtightness – absence of thermal bridges and uncontrolled loss of thermal energy in materials and ingredients. A special calculation of thermal field allows the removal of all poor sites of the structure and their optimization at a later stage.
